ISE index improves 11.68 points

Equities moved both ways on the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where investors adopted a cautious approach under the lead of hot favourite amid increase in index. ISE Ten Index showed an improvement of 11.68 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 2,876.91 to 2,888.59 points. The overall turnover amounted to 37,100 shares as compared to previous volume of 100,000 shares.
Total 124 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (78) closed in positive territory, 46 closed in negative territory, whereas no company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of NIB Bank was 23,000 shares. The volume of Maple Leaf Cement was 5,000 shares. The volume of Lotte Pakistan PTA was 3,000 shares.
