All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) former President Pervez Musharraf has made an appeal to Chief Election Commissioner Justice Fakhruddin G Ebrahim (Retd) to arrange rechecking of voters lists in order to remove fake votes from voters' lists. Reacting to issuance of computerised electoral rolls by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
The APML Secretary Information Asia Ishaq said here on Tuesday that Nadra had acquired the services of representatives of political parties at the time of census and house census who enrolled votes of their own choice. She was of the view that the forthcoming elections would be a big fraud if held on the basis of old electoral rolls. It may be mentioned here that Chief Election Commissioner Justice Fakhruddin G. Ebrahim (Retd)on Tuesday has announced that a total of 80.436 million voters have been registered in the new electoral rolls using latest technology and help of National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra).
