Seven mini buses hijacked

Unidentified armed men hijacked seven mini buses of the Route U-1 near Ali Hotel, Lyari in the limits of Baghdadi Police station. According to details, armed men forcibly hijacked the passenger buses bearing registration numbers JE-0262, JE-2169, JE-2646, JE-1369, JE-0125, JE-2174 and JE-1452 and took them to unknown place.
Khanzada, route operator U-1, told Business Recorder that the armed men vacated buses and took them away. He said armed men also deprived passengers of their valuables. No FIR was registered till filing of this report.
