M Sami and Saad Surkhail excelled in the middle order to guide UBL to a 13 runs win over Advance Telecom in the 2nd Advance Telecom Corporate T20 Cup here on Wednesday at the DHA Sports Club Moin Khan Academy. After winning the toss UBL set a target of 150 runs for Advance Telecom. M. Sami struck four sixes and two fours in scoring 56 off 42 balls while Saad Surkhail slammed a six and five boundaries in his 48 runs off 46 balls.
Advance Telecom in reply batted well but fell short of 13 runs, scoring 136 for 8 wickets in 20 overs. Fawad Afridi played sensible knock of 50 off 36 balls with the help of three sixes and two fours. M. Irshad and Kashif Bhatti claimed two wickets each. Advance Telecom will face Port Qasim in their last fixture to keep their hopes alive for semi finals.
