PESHAWAR: The Excise and Taxation (E&T) Department, Mardan has collected a record amount of Rs. 310 million on head of various taxes during the outgoing fiscal year 2020-21. This was stated by Mardan District Excise and Taxation Officer Fawad Iqbal Khan while speaking at his office on the occasion of distribution of certificates of appreciation to the personnel for their outstanding performance.
Fawad Iqbal said that this year the Excise and Taxation Department of Mardan has recovered a record amount of Rs. 310 million in taxes and in fulfilling the target set by the government, the entire team has performed its duties with great honesty and hard work. The official said that the department has completed the recovery to achieve its goals of Property tax Professional tax. He added the real estate tax MVT Token Tax - Excise Revenue and Motor Vehicle Registration Fee has easily met its target.
On this occasion, he distributed certificates of excellence to the entire team and congratulated them heartily. He said that the best performance of the department this year is the result of hard work and honesty of all the personnel. On which all the officials of the department deserve praise and congratulations.
Who have shown outstanding performance in achieving their targets and timely collection of taxes and depositing them in the exchequer which is very welcome. He urged all personnel to perform their duties honestly in the same manner.
