Federal Courts/Tribunals would be shifted to newly constructed complex at Sector G-11 Islamabad soon. The newly constructed Federal Court/Tribunals complex is ready for handing over to the concerned ministry, said in a news release issued here on Thursday.
Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Iqbal Hameed-ur-Rehman has already sent a summary for establishment of six special courts/tribunals to Ministry of Law Justice and Parliamentary Affairs for approval of the Prime Minister. It is hoped that said courts will be soon notified by the government as directed by the Supreme Court in a constitution petition on August 8. After the notification of six special courts Islamabad High Court will appoint presiding officer of the said courts through ministry of law.
