KARACHI: Gold prices on Wednesday further strengthened on the local market, traders said.

It was selling for Rs 116,700 per tola after growing by Rs 700.

The yellow metal price of 10 grams also scaled up by Rs 600 to Rs 100,051.

Globally, gold stood for $1771 per ounce. Silver prices remained unchanged, traders added.
