Punjab Minister for Agriculture and Irrigation Malik Ahmad Ali has said that Punjab government is utilising all available resources for the welfare of the masses. He said that, as a result of inefficient policies of the federal government, people had to face the pain of load-shedding during the holy month of Ramazan however, the federal government continued to be insensitive to the plight of the people.
The minister expressed these views while talking to complainants at an Open Kutchery held to resolve problems of the people at Minar-e-Pakistan, on Friday. Members National and Provincial Assembly, Muslim League workers, authorised officers of Health, Education, Police, LDA, Wasa, Local Government, Community Development, Board of Revenue and other departments were also present along with men and women, in a large number who had come from the Lahore city and its adjoining areas. Malik Ahmad Ali said Punjab government had launched revolutionary programmes, worth billions of rupees, to raise standard of living of the masses. He said with the introduction of development projects like Green Tractor Scheme, Laptops, Self Employment Scheme, provision of buses for colleges, and installation of solar panel and bio-gas pilot projects, the province would achieve progress, prosperity and growth.
He said the development projects launched by Punjab Government had been greatly appreciated, while the other provinces were also following in its footsteps. Malik Ahmad Ali said that by holding open Kutcheries on the directives of Khadim-e-Aala Punjab the government of Pakistan Muslim League (N) was ensuring complete implementation of its programme, to provide service to the people, by solving their problems at their doorsteps.
