Karachi Kings’ bowling spearhead Mohammad Amir’s Pakistan Super League (PSL) stint may be over after the pacer suffered an injury and is expected to miss a number of games.

The pacer reportedly suffered an injury during Karachi Kings showdown against Peshawar Zalmi. In an interview, Karachi Kings skipper Imad Wasim said, “It is a major blow for our team to lose such a world class player.”

“At the moment it is pretty hard to tell how bad the injury is. We are assessing and will update soon,” said Imad.

Speaking about Amir’s replacement, he said, “We have good players sitting in the dugout, it would not be a big problem for us. We have had planned to replace Amir and Mills during the tournament.”

Meanwhile Karachi Kings will lock horns against arch rivals Lahore Qalandars in their third match of the campaign today at Dubai International Stadium. Till now, Karachi Kings have won both the two matches that they have played while Qalandars have yet to win any.
