Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) in collaboration with Ministry of National Heritage and Integration has scheduled a "National Cultural Show" in connection with Independence Day Celebrations here on August 28. The colorful show will mesmerise the audience of twin cities with folk and national songs, regional dances and stage plays.
Local and known singers will present national songs to highlight the Freedom movement and the struggle of freedom fighters in a melodious way. While the segment of regional dances will highlight the vibrant cultural heritage of the country and rich traditions through bright costumes and conventional jewellery. "The show has been planned with the theme of highlighting freedom movement, heroes of Pakistan movement and portraying the rich culture and traditions of Pakistan through performing art," an official of PNCA said, while talking to APP.
