LAHORE: The Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry on Tuesday convened Extraordinary General Meeting that was largely attended by the members. LCCI President Mian Nauman Kabir, Senior Vice President Mian Rehman Aziz Chan and Vice President Haris Ateeq spoke on the occasion.
The LCCI Extraordinary General Meeting was called to get approval of the agenda. All the participants gave approval of the agenda through show of hands.

They said that the prime objective of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry is not only to serve the business community but is also to act as a bridge between the private sector and the government.
LCCI President Mian Nauman Kabir gave the members a detailed briefing on the measures initiated by the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry for wellbeing of the trade and industry.
He also threw light on the ongoing economic challenges and stressed the need for collective approach to bring country out of these problems. He said that the country cannot make an impact at international level because of awareness about latest business methodologies.
He said that it is the responsibility of every businessman to play its role to cope with the challenges being faced by the economy of the country.
The members also approved an increase in the LCCI annual membership subscription. The meeting was attended by over 500 members.
