KARACHI: On Wednesday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 17.076 billion and the number of lots traded at 14,398.

Major business was contributed by NSDQ 100 amounting to PKR 5.142 billion, followed by Gold (PKR 4.838 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.954 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 1.847 billion), Silver (PKR 775.112 million), Platinum (PKR 760.666 million), DJ (PKR 601.294 million), SP 500 (PKR 404.239 million), Copper (PKR 319.154 million), Japan Equity (PKR 234.281 million) and Natural Gas (PKR 198.047 million).

In Agricultural Commodities, one lot of Cotton amounting to PKR 1.092 million was traded.
