At least three children were killed on Wednesday when roof of a dilapidated house caved in during rains here in the limits of Ramna Police Station. A police official said that Kaneez Fatima, 13, daughter of Muhammad Iqbal, Zahid Abbas, 6, son of Riaz and Nayab Bibi, 2, daughter of Khadim Hussain were killed, whereas Sohana, 13, suffered injuries when roof of the house collapsed in a village Mehrabadi located in the suburb of the federal capital.
He said that soon after getting information, police and rescue workers reached the site and pulled the stranded people out from the debris. They shifted bodies and injured to Pakistan Instituted of Medical Sciences (PIMS), he said.
