In a surprising move, Managing Director, Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB) on Thursday resigned from his post for, what he said, personal reasons. Citing reasons for his resignation, Misbahuddin Fareed, the outgoing MD Water Board said that he was now unable to face pressures from different corners. He was facing multiple issues since he started drive against defaulters, water thieves, illegal connections etc.
According to him, conspiracies were being hatched against KWSB's interests. According to sources, the Sindh government will now issue notification for the appointment of new MD of KWSB.
