Defence Day of Pakistan was observed here with traditional zeal on Thursday. Thousands of people offered fateha at the graves of martyrs of 1965 and 1971 war. Pakistan Muslim League -Nawaz (PML-N) organised a rally to express solidarity with armed forces and to pay homage to the martyrs who laid down their lives for the cause of motherland.
A large number of youths attended this rally. Addressing a meeting Makhdoom Ghulam Yazdani Gilani, Muhammad Ashraf Qureshi, Mehmood-ul-Hassan Naqshbandi and others paid rich tributes to the Pak armed forces and expressed their solidarity with them.
