The Provincial Quality Control Board (PQCB) has accorded approval for prosecution of as many 16 cases and registration of FIR in four cases pertaining to sub-standard and spurious medicines. The meeting of Provincial Quality Control Board was held under the chairmanship of Additional Secretary Technical Health, Dr Anwar Janjua.
The meeting considered 35 cases of sub-standard and spurious medicines and adjourned proceedings in 15 cases for further investigation upon which action would be taken later on. Secretary PQCB, Moazzam Khan, Chief Drug Inspector and concerned officers attended the meeting.
