YDA holds protests again: LHC asks secretary to submit old, new service structures
The Lahore High Court on Monday reiterating its directions restraining young doctors from observing protests and directed the secretary health Punjab to submit old and new service structures of young doctors and also their comparison with DMG (District Management Group).
The court adjourned to September 17 the hearing a petition filed by Chairman Judicial Activism Panel Azhar Siddique advocate seeking strict action against young doctors for holding protest and demanded cancellation of their practising licenses. Earlier, the court asked counsel of the Young Doctors Association (YDA) as to why the doctors were still on roads when the court had already taken notice of the situation. "The attitude of young doctors was disappointing and court orders should be implemented in its letters and spirit, the court added.
