Fazl urges India to resolve Kashmir dispute

Chairman Parliamentary Special Committee on Kashmir Maulana Fazlur Rehman has urged India to resolve the Kashmir issue for a durable peace in the region. In a statement issued here on Monday he welcomed the recent visit of Indian Foreign Minister S M Krishna to Pakistan and said that dialogue process between the two countries should continue.
Stressing the need to resolve the core issue of Kashmir, he said over the years both the countries had been negotiating on different issues such as visa, revival of sports ties and trade but unfortunately no progress had been made to resolve the long outstanding Kashmir issue.
