At least four persons were killed while 50 others injured when a speedy passenger bus overturned here in Dera Ghazi Khan on Saturday. According to rescue sources, a Dera Ismail Khan bound passenger bus coming from Karachi turned turtle near Trimman check post on Indus Highway due to over speeding. As a result of accident three persons were killed on the spot while 50 others sustained wounds. Another died on the way to hospital.
The rescue teams and local people reached the scene of the accident and took part in rescue operation. Bodies and injured people were rushed to Taunsa Sharif Hospital where according to hospital sources condition of some injured people was serious and it was feared that death toll may rise further.
