Bears dominated the wholesale grain market on Saturday in the process of modest trading, dealers said. Most of the changes were seen on the seeds side, where castorseeds Lasbela gained Rs 50 to Rs 1900-1950, castorseeds Sindh low type was up by Rs 75 to Rs 1700 and the best quality rose by Rs 100 to Rs 1750, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh old was down by Rs 50 to Rs 450-550 and the cottonseeds oilcake Sindh new followed same pattern, losing Rs 20 to Rs 950-980, other items maintained overnight levels in the process of trading, they said.
On the cereals side, Gur low type retained overnight level at Rs 4600 while the best type lost Rs 800 to Rs 6000, they said. Only one change was seen on the rice sector, Irri-6 Sindh low type gained Rs 10 to Rs 3510 and the superior quality maintained the overnight level at Rs 3600, they said.
