Deputy Managing Director, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), Captain Junaid Younus will be acting Managing Director following the resignation of Air Chief Marshal Rao Qamar Suleman (Retd). "Consequent upon resignation of Air Chief Marshal Rao Qamar Suleman (Retired), the competent authority has directed that Deputy Managing Director PIA, Captain Junaid Younus will be the acting Managing Director to look after the affairs of the Corporation," said a Spokesman of PIA here on Tuesday.
He said Air Chief Marshal Rao Qamar Suleman (Retired) has resigned from Pakistan International Airlines as Chairman and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). A notification has been issued by Ministry of Defence Tuesday, he added.
