Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that peaceful protest is the right of the people and the entire world has known on Friday the sentiments of the Muslims for the Holy Prophet (PBUH). He said that any sacrilegious act against the dignity of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) is not acceptable at any cost, therefore, we and the entire Muslim Ummah lodge strong protest against this blasphemous act.
The Chief Minister stressed that peaceful protest should also be lodged at international forums in this regard. He appealed to the people to remain peaceful while expressing their religious sentiments and should avoid the damaging public and private property.
