Our banks are unsafe. Tellers have loud conversations in open, public spaces allowing others to know what services you’re availing, the amounts you’re withdrawing or depositing. We go everywhere begging for foreign aid (never investment). Yet, without security, forget foreign direct investment, we’ll continue to lose local investment too. Before seeking foreign aid, remittances or investment (if ever), we must ensure there isn’t capital flight or a brain drain. In a security state, where we spend the most resources on our security, our number one problem shouldn’t be security. We seek help from foreign experts but drive away our own due to nepotism, corruption and other issues at the workplace that prevent upward mobility because of jealousy or insecurity. We lack merit in our society and the most visible failure is in our politics. These politicians are backed by foreign interest groups that wish to perpetuate our poverty and misery. They never give up an opportunity to achieve this.

Probably the worst helpline ever. Parrots sitting there spewing routine answers. I lost 100,000 Rs in. Online transactions and after 6 months of efforts gave up on them. Now my large remittance has been stuck since a month and they have no answer. Tried to reach a human for help but no luck. What good is lifestyle branch 24/7 when they cannot even give me online access to my account without visiting a branch for biometrics. Really Well done Mahreen. If you care to read your performance
