Federal Minister for National Heritage and Integration, Samina Khalid Ghurki heartily congratulated renowned writer, novelist and philosopher Bano Qudsia for receiving highest literary award of Pakistan "Kamal-e-Fun" for the year 2010. During her telephonic conversation with Bano Qudsia, she paid rich tribute to educational and literary services of the renowned literary figure, said a news release issued here on Saturday.
The Federal Minister said Bano Qudsia is an asset for the country. She opined that it is great honour for the country that her literary master pieces got tremendous fame nationally and internationally. She said lovers of Urdu literature around the globe respect Bano Qudsia for her literary writings especially `Raja Gidh" which is considered as one of the ever green novel of the Urdu language. The Federal Minister also appreciated Pakistan Academy of Letters for its services to promote literature in the country.
