Provincial Minister for Prisons Malik Muhammad Iqbal Channar has said that Punjab government is striving for providing basic amenities to the people of Punjab at their door step. He was talking to the people who came from various areas in his office on Monday. He said that Punjab government has decided to bring the backward areas at par with the urban areas so that maximum facilities could be provided to the people.
He said that Punjab government is constructing a civil hospital comprising 410 beds at a cost of Rs 8 billion in Bahawalpur and dual carriage road from Bahawalpur to Hasilpur, which will bring a positive change in the area. Iqbal Channar said that under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, various mega projects have been started in the province which would bring a tremendous change in the development of the province.
