As many as 165 trucks of relief items are being sent by the Punjab government for the flood affectees of Sindh and Balochistan. Director General Provincial Disaster Management Authority Mujahid Sherdil revealed this while presiding over a meeting about the relief goods being sent to flood affectees of Sindh and Balochistan on Monday.
He said that 100 trucks carrying relief items are being sent for flood affectees of Sindh while 65 for Balochistan which included dry ration, sugar, atta, ghee, rice, pulses, tea bags, salt, chilly and dry milk whereas thousands of tents and mineral water bottles are also being sent for the flood affectees.
