KARACHI: Gold prices on Thursday bounced back with a huge gain on the local market, traders said. The yellow metal surged by Rs4000 to Rs208000 per tola and Rs3429 to Rs178326 per 10 grams.

Silver moved up by Rs50 to Rs2600 per tola and Rs42.87 to Rs2229.08 per 10 grams.

On the world market, gold prices stood for $1959 per ounce and silver for $24.26 per ounce, traders said.
