Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that accusations against him of dual citizenship are baseless and contrary to the facts. He said, he would prove in the Supreme Court that he does not have citizenship of any other country except Pakistan.
Talking to the journalists in German city of Berlin, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif on Friday said that stance of Pakistan Muslim League-N regarding dual citizenship is very clear. He said that he is proud of being a Pakistani and if his dual citizenship was not proved in the court, those who are levelling allegations against him, should resign from their Assembly seat. He said he would prove in the court that he does not have dual citizenship and would appear in the Supreme Court whenever he was summoned.
