In connection with the ongoing World Space Week, a declamation contest was organised by Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) at National Center for Remote Sensing and Geo-Informatics (NCRG) Karachi. Students from various public and private schools presented their views on the theme of WSW 2012 the Space for Human Safety and Security. Students conveyed strong support of the usage of space technology for human safety.
The finals of declamation and quiz competition shall be held at PAF Museum, during space family fair on 06 and 07 October 2012. In collaboration with PIA Planetarium Karachi, SUPARCO has also arranged Sky Simulation shows and lectures for school students on 05, 03 and 09 October 2012.-PR
