ISE index drops by 40.57 points

Bears dominated the proceedings on Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where equities showed negative signs under the lead of hot favourite amid decrease in index. ISE Ten Index was down by 40.57 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 3,178.97 to 3,138.40 points. The overall turnover amounted to 34,600 shares as compared to previous turnover of 205,500 shares.
Total 128 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (80) closed in negative territory, 48 landed in plus column and zero company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of Dewan Salman Fibres was 25,000 shares. The volume of PTCL was 6,000 shares. The volume of Bank of Punjab was 1,000 shares. The volume of Bank Al Falah was 1,000 shares.
