LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday described the February 8 elections as the most important in Pakistan’s history and promised that they would emerge victorious under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif – the party supremo who is eyeing a record fourth term as Prime Minister.

He listed the achievements of the last Nawaz government, including restoration of peace in Karachi and ending hours-long power outages after winning the 2013 elections.

It was Nawaz who tackled the menace of terrorism, Shehbaz said, adding that people still remembered the development works carried out during that period across Pakistan.

What’s funny is with a population of probably over 300 million, the country only has like 2 politicians that take turns plundering the finances (what’s left) of the country. Here we are in 2024 almost, and none of these corrupt cow dungs could come up with a comprehensive waste disposal mechanism. Then there’s the uniformed property developers, for whom survival is based of being subsidized by the tax payer for their commercial interests, no war in 50 years, yet these ticks adorn themselves with medals? Do these medals represent corruption? Looting? Plundering? Wiping your behinds with the constitution? A product of the British, they were slaves and shall always remain the same, oh but we have nukes, no water, power, gas, infrastructure, schools, hospitals where they’d like to be treated, but we have nukes. /sarcasm
