Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ameer Haider Khan Hoti on Saturday inaugurated VIP helicopter flight at Peshawar Aviation Base. The ceremony among others was also attended by Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ghulam Dastagir Akhtar, Secretary Administration, Hifz ur Rahman, Secretary C&W, Zahid Hussain and officers of Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
The Chief Secretary on this occasion briefed the participants that the project was initiated for provision of VIP helicopter service and its cost was Rs 74.4 million. He informed that Rs 42.453 million were spent on construction of hanger and its whole work was done by the officials of CAA. The Elpha Taxi Link, he said was completed with the assistance of officials of Pakistan Air Force at an estimated cost of RS. 32 million which included workshop, maintenance room, crew room, flight commandant office, tea bar, spare room, guard room and spare store.
