Tanks are weapons of offense, not defense. Who are we planning to invade, the mountainous Afghanistan where tanks can't function, or India, one of the biggest economies in the world?

This is good news, however the Ukraine war has shown that although tanks are not obsolete, they are very vulnerable. We should be spending more money on battlefield drones and artillery.
