Pakistan moved closer to securing a spot in the final of the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup 2024 after a thrilling 5-4 victory against Canada on Wednesday in Ipoh, Malaysia.

With the win, Pakistan continued their unbeaten record in the tournament, besides topping the points table with 10 points in four games.

The Green Shirts are also close to entering the final of the tournament. If Japan beat Malaysia later today, then both Pakistan and Japan will qualify for the final of the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup 2024.

Canada started the game aggressively and kept attacking Pakistan’s goalpost from the word go. They succeeded in taking a 2-0 lead in the 17th minute of the game.

Pakistan were on the back foot in the first two halves but made a resounding comeback to end the game with a decisive 5-4 lead.

The only solution to the Ranghar problem is a fair Muslim census in Bharat, proportionate political representation and a proportionate Muslim reservation/quota. That’ll also bring peace to South Asia.
