ISLAMABAD: General Michael Erik Kurilla, Commander of the United States Central Command (CENTCOM), paid a visit to General Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), at the General Headquarters (GHQ) to discuss regionally security cooperation.
During their meeting, both military leaders delved into matters of mutual interest, with a particular focus on bolstering cooperation in regional security affairs.
Discussions centred on exploring avenues for joint training initiatives and reaffirming the importance of enhancing training interactions between CENTCOM and the Pakistan Army.
General Kurilla commended Pakistan Army’s significant successes in the fight against terrorism and acknowledged Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to fostering peace and stability in the region.
