Gold prices maintained their upward trajectory in Pakistan on Thursday in line with the increase in the international rate. In the local market, gold price per tola stood at Rs245,600 after a single-day gain of Rs1,600.
The 10-gram gold was sold at Rs210,562 after an increase of Rs1,371, according to rates shared by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
The international rate of gold rose on Thursday. As per APGJSA, the rate was set at $2,390 per ounce (with a premium of $20) after an increase of $25 during the day.
Meanwhile, silver rates stood at Rs2,730 per tola after an increase of Rs80.
Last month, gold hit an all-time high of Rs252,200 per tola in the local market.
On Wednesday, gold in Pakistan had increased Rs2,900 per tola.
