Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) has finalised all the arrangements to hold supplementary examinations of SSC part-II class X from October 23, 2012 for which 44 examination centers have been set-up for boys and 39 for girls. The number of students appearing in supplementary examination is 31,000.
Chairman BSEK Fasihuddin Khan held meetings with officials of board to review the arrangements. The meeting formed different committees consisting of senior teachers to pay surprise visits to the examination centers and report back to chairman. The teams have been authorised to take steps for curbing use of unfair means during the examination. The meeting also discussed dispatching examination material to the centers in time and maintaining secrecy of question papers. It was told that Examination Reporting Center under the supervision of a senior officer has been established in board office to receive complaints and take immediate action.
