we have ministry of postal services and ministries of railways. these services are better offered by private sector. we have ministry of defense and ministry of defense production, these two should be one ministry. we have a ministry of statistics. we have a ministry of Kashmir affairs and gilgit baltistan and again a ministry of states and frontier regions.

Much do about nothing. Why waste time and money on foreign consultants? Every Ministry has its own attached/specialised departments equipped with international level expertise.

The FCDO consultants must work closely with the government ministries and teams as 'Change" or "Process" consultants, not as "Experts" who are parachuted in to give unrealistic recommendations.

If the reforms do nothing else, they need to set the Pakistani Entrepreneur free so he or she can create wealth for the country. Red-tape is a huge hindrance for the investor.

The FCDO consultants need to study the reforms in India in 1991, and try and develop recommendations for our government to undertake a similar exercise that will help our investment and exports grow.
