KAMPALA: The Ugandan shilling was stable on Wednesday, supported by muted demand for dollars as some players held onto their local currency to meet pending mid-month tax payments, traders said.
Ugandan shilling firmer; agriculture sector dollar inflows help
At 0933 GMT commercial banks quoted the shilling at 3,710/3,720, same level as Tuesday’s close.
