The Pakistan Super League (PSL) third edition action returns to Dubai, as reigning champions Peshawar Zalmi have won the toss and elected to bowl first against Multan Sultans on Tuesday.

Shoaib Malik’s Sultans are flying high after they crushed Sarfraz Ahmed’s Quetta Gladiators by nine wickets, in their last match.

The Sultans have now claimed the top spot on the ranking table, after Karachi Kings suffered their first defeat of the season against at the hands of Islamabad United on Sunday.

The Sultans have emerged as a potent side, boasting the services of Sri Lankan legend Kumar Sangakkara and South Africa’s Imran Tahir, the duo is currently leading the PSL season with both runs and wickets, respectively.

Meanwhile, Peshawar Zalmi who are stationed at third spot, with three wins and two losses in their five matches, outclassed Lahore Qalandars in their latest encounter, after the Zalmis made history becoming the first PSL team to score win by 10 wickets.

Featuring a potent bowling attack including- Hasan Ali, Wahab Riaz and a stable batting line consisting Kamran Akmal, Dwayne  Smith and Muhammad Hafeez, who will be leading the side after Darren Sammy picked up an injury.
