ISE index drops by 4.91 points

Bears dominated the proceedings on the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where equities showed negative signs under the lead of hot favourite amid decrease in index. ISE Ten Index was down by 4.91 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 3,097.53 to 3,092.62 points. The overall turnover amounted to 18,500 shares as compared to previous turnover of 2,500 shares.
Total 133 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (69) closed in negative territory, 64 landed in plus column and zero company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of Maple Leaf Cement was 10,000 shares. The volume of PTCL was 6,000 shares. The volume of Silk Bank was 2,000 shares.
