PESHAWAR: The Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi notified the names of the members of political and technical committees constituted in light of the KP Governor’s All Parties Conference here on Sunday.
The 11-member political committee is aimed at the promotion of political harmony among the political parties and prosperity of the province. The committee will also hold consultations on important issues and perform the role of the coordination in this regard.
The members of the political committee include Governor KP Faisal Karim Kundi (Chairman), Amir Muqaam (PML-N), Sikandar Hayat Khan Sherpao (QWP), Maulana Atta-ur-Rehman (JUI-F), Mian Iftikhar Hussain (ANP), Syed Mohammad Ali Shah Bacha (PPP), Mohsin Dawar (NDM), Professor Mohammad Ibrahim Khan (JIP), Mahmood Khan (PTI-P), Pervez Khattak (ex.CM) and Engineer Shaukat Ullah Khan, as a representative of the merged districts of erstwhile FATA.
This committee will work for the strengthening of the coordination among the political parties and present recommendation for evolving consensus on important issues.
According to the notification another 12-member committee has also been formed. The technical committee is composed of Dr Ibad Ullah (PML-N), Maulana Lutf-ur-Rehman (JUI-F), Ahmad Karim Kundi (PPP), Inayatullah Khan (JIP), Akhundzada Sikandar Zaman (QWP), Sangeen Khan (ANP), Kifayatullah Khan (NDM), Malik Habib Noor Orakzai (PTI), Ghazan Jamal (Merged Districts), Himayatullah Khan (expert) and Musharraf Rasool (expert).
Beside monitoring of the development schemes, this committee will also provide services on giving proposals on technical matters.
The committee will also hold consultations on crucial technical matters and work for promotion of cooperation among the political parties.
