You can now order from Pizza Hut with new pizza-ordering sneakers
The famous restaurant company Pizza Hut has launched sneakers that let you order pizza with just one push of a button embedded in the sneakers along with allowing you pause live TV.
Pairing with The Shoe Surgeon, the pizza chain disclosed the Pie Tops II, the smart sneakers that permit its wearers to order pizza by pressing a button on the shoes with the help of Bluetooth technology. When the pizza arrives, the wearer can then also pause live TV in order to receive the meal, without missing on their shows or movies.

The sneakers pair up with the wearer’s smartphone and a Pie Tops app for both Android and iOS. By pressing a button placed on the tongue of the right shoe, the order of Pizza Hut’s $5.99 deal of two-topping medium pizzas would be placed. The app would open up to verify the order and the address. Also, another button on the tongue of the left shoe will allow the wearer to pause live TV when the pizza arrives on the door, not letting the wearer miss on anything. DVR receivers from various firms including DirecTV, Spectrum, Xfinity, Fros and Dish will support the shoes, reported USA Today.
Initially the company would manufacture 50 pairs and the smart sneakers will be available in red and wheat color. Starting from March 19, the shoes would go on online retail sale, however, the price has not yet been revealed by the pizza company, according to Engagdet.
