Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) on Tuesday announced to hold a "Tahafuz-e-Namoos-e-Risalat (PBUH)" rally next week to condemn the making of profane movie mocking Islam. The announcement made during a press conference at Peshawar Press Club by JUI provincial leader Asif Iqbal Daudzai and others. He said the JUI was going to organise a rally from Ring Road to Khyber Bazaar in Peshawar city.
Flanked by JUI-F General Secretary Khalid Waqar Chamkani, he informed that the convoy of more than 500 vehicles would join the rally from each constituency of the provincial capital Peshawar on November 15 next week.
Keeping in view the difficulties of masses, he said participants of rally would use main Grand Trunk route via Khyber Bazaar, which was culminated at Kohat Road, where the central and provincial leaders of the party will address.
JUI-F General Secretary said that three committees had so far constituted for inviting different political parties, and religious and other liberal parties, business communities and every walk of life for participation in the rally, while the leaders of trading would also participate in the procession.
Condemning the making of sacrilegious movie, Daudzai said the act hurt the religious sentiments and feelings of Muslim around the World. He asked the United Nation and Organisation of Islamic Countries to play their effective role for making legislation to stop blasphemous acts in future.
"We will not tolerate insult and disgrace in dignity of last Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), and would render any sacrifice to protect the Islam", Daudzai vowed. "We will continue protest drive till making laws at international against the sacrilegious acts," he warned.
