Bajra prices fall sharply on grain market

Rates of Bajra fell sharply on the wholesale grain market on Saturday in the process of trading, dealers said. On the grams side, Bajra low type prices declined by Rs 550 to Rs 2600 and the best variety dropped by Rs 150 to Rs 3600, yellow peas Canada lost Rs 200 to Rs 4400-4600 on comfortable supply position, yellow peas Dall Canada, however, picked up Rs 550 to Rs 4900-5100, yellow peas Russia was higher by Rs 50 to Rs 4300-4500, yellow peas Dall Russia gained the same amount to Rs 4800-5000, they said.
On the seeds side, rapeseeds cakes inferior type was up by Rs 15 to Rs 1400 while the best type was unchanged at Rs 1425, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh new fell by Rs 50 to Rs 850-900, they said. Prices were inert on the rice and grams sector, they said.
