Consul General of Iran Abbas Ali Abdul Hai met Commissioner Karachi Syed Hashim Raza Zaidi at his office on Monday and discussed various matters. Commissioner Zaidi informed the envoy that law enforcing agencies have prepared joint security plan to ensure peace during holy month of Muharramul Haram. He added that the religious scholars have been taken into confidence with regard to measures taken for safety of mourning processions and congregations.
The commissioner said that the religious scholars have been requested to cooperate with law enforcing agencies for implementation of security plan.
