A man was killed by unknown armed men in Gulshan-e-Iqbal area in the limits of Aziz Bhatti police station. The deceased was identified as Faheemudin, 40, who lived in Gulzar-e-Hijri area. Police said that unknown armed men riding motorcycle emerged in block 13-C, Gulshan-e-Iqbal near Blue Star Medical Centre. They opened indiscriminate fire on him as a result he sustained severe injuries and died on the spot.
Police registered FIR against unknown accused on the complaint of the deceased's son. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities.
