Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of scholar, writer and journalist Shafqat Tanvir Mirza. His passing away is a great loss to the Punjabi literature where his contributions are momentous, said the Prime Minister. Paying rich tribute to his services for journalism, the Prime Minister said that his death is indeed a loss for the entire nation.
In his message of condolences to his wife, Mrs Tamkanat Ara, the Prime Minister said that he shares the grief with the bereaved family. Expressing his sympathies the Prime Minister said words betray him to share this loss or measure his contributions. The Prime Minister prayed to Allah Almighty for eternal peace of the departed soul and grant courage to the members of bereaved family to bear this loss with fortitude.
