The leaders of Sindh Bachayo Committee (SBC), PML-F and other parties on Thursday appealed the people of Karachi and Sindh for making shutter-down strike call a success today. They made this appeal during a suddenly-called joint press conference held at Hyder Manzil. Addressing a press conference, Syed Jalal Mehmood Shah, Convenor SBC urging people to observe shutter-down strike and black day in a peaceful manner.
He said that not only SBC and its member parties but PML-N, NPP, ST, JUI-F and others are also supporting this strike call and they would also take active part in this protest. He threatened to launch a civil war if PPP would try to sabotage strike call. He said that PPP is hatching a conspiracy to divide Sindh by passing a controversial SPLGA 2012. He said that today the whole Sindh from Karachi to Kashmore would demonstrate its protest by observing shutter-down strike and holding of black flags at their homes.
PML-F's lawmaker Nusrat Sehar Abbasi said that PPP has postponed session of Sindh assembly till December 06, 2012 as they know that PML-F would launch a strong protest. Riaz Chandio, Head of Jeay Sindh Mahaz (JSM) said that we have decided to continue our struggle against the controversial local government act which was forcibly imposed by the PPP and its allies. Ali Hassan Chandio, Head of SNM, said that PPP has always sold the Sindh for their minor interests and now, they also doing the same for coming into power again.
