Delimitation, voters' verification are conspiracies to subvert MQM's mandate: Farooq Sattar
Deputy Convenor of Muttahida Qaumi Movement's (MQM) Co-ordination Committee, Dr Farooq Sattar, has said that the delimitation of electoral constituencies and verification of voters in Karachi alone are conspiracies to subvert the mandate of the MQM. He said MQM did not bow before any oppressive force in the past and the struggle for truth and justice would continue.
He expressed these views while addressing a gathering at Jinnah Ground in Azizabad on the occasion of the Martyrs Day which is observed by the MQM each year on 9th December.
Dr Sattar paid glowing tributes to the martyrs of the MQM and demanded that their killers should be brought to justice. He said that the MQM had faced innumerable hardships in the past, but it continued its struggle continuously. "It is our firm resolve even today that we would not surrender before forces of oppression and continue our struggle," he added. Member of the Co-ordination Committee Raza Haroon also spoke on the occasion..-PR
